I'm not sure what is going on, I have Radeon 9800 Graphics card and I'm trying to display it on a 42 inch LCD HDTV, by Magnavox. I Have no clue what im doing but I took the S-video output from the Graphics card and hooked it into my S-Video Slot on my tv. I can get the picture to show up, but its so very unclear, is there anyway to make it more clear, even in 800x600 it looks stupid. Is there anyway of displaying it on such a Large TV, maybe i just have some settings wrong, or maybe i can just upgrade my graphics card. i just was wondering if anyone knew how to do this.

DVI cable or a DVI->HDMI convertor, depending on what your tv has, and if your video card has DVI.
VGA connector would give a better picture also, if your tv has that.
Make sure you tv resolution is set to 480p and I believe the computer would be 640X480 then - correct me if i am wrong.
Make font sizes larger - right click desktop, left click properties, select appearance tab and at the botton change font size to a bigger one.
ummm....think that is about it other than fine tuning the overlay settings in the ati panel.
I know I had ATI and Nvidia hooked up to tvs already and I have to set the res to 640X480 and fonts as big as they get to be able to read some stuff - movies always looked pretty good, but text sucked.

best bet is a better connection cable I would guess - dvi is a TON better than s-video!
