Bios only for Vista? (Saw this on Digg)

This is really wicked... what were they thinking...
And ok he noticed it on the update. What if the future toshiba products came with this bios? No other OS??

As a poster on the original thread pointed out, the guy was able to boot successfully into xp and linux for a day before the BIOS started asking for a password, so it was probably something they did as a pose to the BIOS locking them out after 24 hours of the OS being on. Lockout a day later makes no sense.
