^^A very good point indeed! I totally agree, well said.capper5016 wrote:maybe my point is that you will always see a bigger benfit using a higher flow fan in a critical area, but when it comes to cooling your HDD or simply using fans on the side panel, things reach a certain point where there is going to be very little difference.
Wow, yeah, that is a very fine line indeed, but I'd say you walk it very wellcapper5016 wrote:You have to be honest, there are times I disagree with companies, but you had better be sure of what you say and do, cuz it can make the difference between getting review materials in the future, or having to buy everything you review.
Sometimes you gotta shut the manufacturers' collective traps when they're downplaying and badmouthing your testing procedures and as they've been applied in the reviews. It's things like what you've just stated that can really drive thoroughly informed customers away, and that's lost business, no doubt about it. I believe I'll build my rig first and see how that goes....if everything goes well, then I'll get more info (from you, with your permission) about getting into the review process, though I don't mod or admin in any forums (once again, with your permission, if I were to do so, I could always write a review in this one, and I would be honored to do so)capper5016 wrote:sometimes there is a really fine line. For instance, i had a company criticizea review I did, saying I wasn't fair, that my results were inaccurate, etc. So I asked them to run the same tests with the same components, they did, and didn't say another word when we compared results.....m y results were better than their own test results.
