CES 2010: OCZ Vertex 2, Z-Drive P88 and USB 3.0 SSDs

OCZ Technology unveiled all sorts of next generation solid state drives (SSDs) this week at the International Consumer Electronics Show and Legit Reviews was there to check it out for you. Read on to see what OCZ is going to be up to in the months to come with new products like the Vertex 2, Z-Drive P88, USB 3.0 Portable SSD and their first ever SAS SSD.

OCZ is planning a few different PCIe x8 based SSD's, one of which is capable speeds of up to 1400MB/s read and 1500MB/s write! Dubbed the Z-Drive s88, it will be available at 512GB and 1TB. Pictured above is the Z-Drive p88, it is capable of up to 1300MB/s read and 1200MB/s write. It will also be available in sizes of 512GB and 1TB.

Pretty good drives that are almost at the SATA 2 limit even though they are MLC. Z-Drives are crazy.

Thanks for the updates. I'm ready to get the USB3.0 version. Do you know the availability on those?

512 and 1TB SSDs? I just hope that they're reasonably priced. :)
