Am I the only person that hates this fan grill design?

Every case I've ever owned that has this design I cut immediately and replace with a wire grill. Not only does it add back pressure to the fan, not all the air escapes, it also makes the fan louder. I wish that case manufacturers would recognize this and cut the hole clean and include a $.05 fan grill.
