Since the Intel 975XBX motherboard only goes up to 2.2Volts we moved over to the trusty ASUS P5WD2 Premium. The ASUS P5WD2 features the Intel 955X chipset, which more people have and goes up to 2.3Volts. More voltage and a great board should lead to some interesting results!

And now I ask the crucial question .... are this mem's better then the 5400UL ones ? I've got my 5400UL ones stable @ 500MHz with CAS 5-3-3 !

Is it worthy to trade them for this Mushkins or it's better to wait for the Corsair response (like some DDR2 CAS 4 500MHz ) ?!

Corsair doesn't have a response ready for these modules yet as they can't find an IC that they like currently and I talked with them today on the phone so this is up to date info.

In terms of which modules are better post up your scores and give me something to beat and I'll try.

With my [email protected] (fsb 250) and the 5400UL @ 500Mhz (1:2) on a P5WD2 Premium I got this :

It'll be interesting to see what's in store for OCZ's response:

Nice results so far, Apoptosis! 8) Trying to decide if these'll be better than my OCZ's I have right now which have Micron D9 fatties.

Don't know, they were just announced so they're not available yet. I don't know what ICs they use. I asked if I could those as a replacement for my OCZ's that were bad, but Jimmy Houn said that they were only announced and unavailable.

Yes, they run Micron D9 IC's on their 5400UL modules and the Corsair 5400UL were the tightest screen/bin that Corsair has ever done.

Sadly a number of companies send out PR's with no product ready or lined up. I've seen a memory company find out a part is coming out write a PR within minutes of finding out and sending it out when product has not been ordered yet. The memory industry can be a blood bath at times. The last I knew OCZ didn't have a solution that could run at these speeds and actually bought these modules from Mushkin to speed test them and see if they want to use them, but this is normal in the Industry as Corsair bought these modules too for internal testing. Gamers/Enthusiasts should be happy that these memory companies are testing each others parts and putting out what they think is best.
