The Kingston DataTraveler Elite - Privacy Edition

Legit Reviews takes the Kingston DataTraveler Elite-Privacy Edition (DTE Privacy Edition) out for a test drive in our most recent article. The DTE Privacy Edition is the worlds first USB Flash drive that secures 100% of data on-the-fly via 128-bit hardware-based AES encryption, ensuring fail-safe security best practices without IT intervention.

In terms of transfer speeds we found the drive to have exceptional write speeds and read speeds that were par for the course. Kingston claimed up to 24MB/Sec transfer rates for read speeds and when using HD Tach we were seeing 23.9MB/Sec, thus confirming the Kingston packaging.

Yeah I've been out of town since this past weekend and sleep is something I am not getting enough of. I'm headed to E3 right now though and have never been to the show before. Can't wait -- just need to wake up now.

On Topic -- the DTE Privacy Edition rocks ;)
