Our second full day at CES included meetings with numerous companies and LR brings you some great coverage of Sapphire, ASUS, Cooler Master, CoolIT and Mushkin's latest products in our day two article. These cards get any bigger they will need kick stands, that thing is long. Really make me think twice about going macro.

They need to work on getting this stuff smaller, everthing it fast enough, lets go for smaller and cooler now :)

QUESTIONS about the XG Station from ASUS. The external PCI-E adapter for their laptops... does that mean i can take a laptop with integrated graphics and use this device to run the newest games on it ? my brother has this issue so i would really be interested to see if thats what this product is for. also how would it be used? i saw on another forum a diagram that showed an extra monitor had to be connected to the laptop for this to work. Also any idea on the price of this thing ? :shock:

The Laptop MUST have an "express card" slot. This is the new format that has taken over PCMCIA. Intead of using the (slow) PCI bus, it uses PCIe

my brother has the 640m dell inspiron notebook. i looked on the internet but i cant seem to find specs for it that would show what kind of a slot it has. can anyone tell me if the asus station would work with that laptop ?
