I wonder if the larger MX Revolutions would work with the MX 3200. From looking at the website, it seems it might use the same protocol. That might satisfy me as the keyboard looks pretty nice to work with. Just worried about the size of the mouse.....the bigger, the better, for me!

why do they (keyboard/mouse makers) sell keyboard & mouse combos and sell mice alone but dont sell keyboards alone?? I want a good cordless keyboard. I already have a logitech G7, but wanted a top notch keyboard. frustrating.

Good question, but I found what Logitech offers here.

The holy grail of computer parts - Newegg - lists a ton of keyboard onlyofferings.

Great review! I have ben in the market for a keyboard and mouse! I only have 1 thing i need, and that is the back and forward internet buttons on the side like my MicrosoftIntellimouse Optical has :) I use that feature A LOT!

Mike

$81 though :( Keyboard I use now was $5

No backlighting...when you hit one of the top hot keys, it will flash the name of the command, ie. "Media", "Shuffle", "Record", volume level, "play", "next", "previous", and of course the date and time.

Oh, by the way, welcome to the forums!

I registered just so I could mirror the reviewer's sentiment.

I've used the MX 700 mouse and actually the Logitech Cordless Duo for a few yeas also. I found it to be a very natural feeling keyboard and accurate mouse.

I built a system for a friend about a year ago and included the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3000 Laser Mouse And Keyboard and have to totally agree with what the reviewer said about the mice. Features, you keep some, you loose some.

I have used this KB/M combo on my friends computer for a considerable amount of time, (room mate) and have to say that every now and again I've sat back to evaluate the keyboard and mouse and I must admit that I very much like it too.

It feels great and seems to fit quite well too. Forward and zoom buttons are a bit too forward, but I'm a contortionist, <grin> so have learned how to emulate double-jointedness(dbl-grin).

The Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3200 Laser is currently is on sale here and I need a comfy/familiar KB/M combo for work, so I vote yah on this one.

OT: I've also used the MediaPlayâ„¢ Cordless Mouse with my current office rig and found it to be too quirky and somewhat uncomfy, sans features.

Thanks for letting me express my enthusiasm.

Johnny5-

First of all, welcome to the LR forums and thanks for reading! (and posting).

Thanks for sharing your feelings and experiences with the MX3200. It's always good to hear from other users what their experiences are - and to know that the LR writers aren't totally crazy! 8)
