Building a Whitebox Notebook Query

Hey guys -
I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any sources of whitebox laptops in the UK? In interested in going ahead and building an updated version - but nobody seems interested in supplying me the toys - no responses from Acer, and nothing from their resellers either.
Any ideas of who would supply in the UK?
