Aliph Jawbone with Noise Assassin Technology Bluetooth Headset Review

When we looked at the original Jawbone we asked ourselves “Is this the best Bluetooth headset on the market?” The answer was complicated, but the bottom line is that we thought Aliph could do better on the Jawbone. Let me tell you that this new Jawbone is much better overall than its older sibling. To arrive to the table at half the size and still retain the incredible noise cancellation features puts this at the top of all Bluetooth headsets we have reviewed here at Legit.

It's a really nice headset. Kinda pricey, but a great headset.

Aliph has a major problem. The Jawbone II is NOT COMPATIBLE with Windows Mobile 6.1. I paired the JBII with my Samsung Blackjack II. It worked great... until I tried to accept an incoming call. No go! The call is answered, but you can't talk or hear the other party.

Oh, and Aliph's customer service is terrible. They told me to either get a new phone, or reflash my Blackjack II to Win Mobile 6.0. Stupid, right? If you scream, Aliph will send you a new unit with updated firmware. I'm still waiting for mine. If I don't like it, I'm sending it back and getting a Blue Ant.

Wow that is a serious issue... Thanks for pointing that out for others as I'm sure more will run into that problem!
