Wow! I ordered directly from the manufacturer and ordered next day delivery. Twenty-four hours passed and I wasn't notified that it had been shipped or that there were any delays. I called the next morning (they don't offer 24 hour service and don't have an email contact form) only to discover that they were "sold out" and were currently on "back order". I don't understand how the manufacturer's website wasn't able to be updated to indicate that they were "out of stock" of the item that they personally manufacturer prior to me placing my order or how 24 hours can pass without them telling me.
I also asked why I didn't receive an email notification as to when this product became available... I signed up to receive a notification on their website and trusted that I would be notified, especially since I receive numerous alerts from every other company I do business with online (woot, Jnr, amazon, dell, circuit city, costco, paypal.) I received my invoice from them... but no alert or "sorry... we no longer have this product in inventory" messages were ever received (and I manage a corporate mail server with fairly lax filters.)
I canceled my order outright as a result and will not be purchasing any Logitech products in the future. This is the second time that my online order was screwed up when ordering a Logitech product through a distributor or direct-to-manufacturer.
Their customer service is bad enough to at least mention it on the "Legit Bottom Line". Maybe others had a successful experience... unfortunately my personal experienced with Logitech sucked (twice).
