Is there any board that can run 3 PCI 16 slots for uber crossfire? Not that I can afford something like that but 3 HD4780x2s would be something to see in action.

Thanks for the review, but did you get the chance to test media playback? Also I noticed that the ATI 3450 card you used for the hybrid testing had an HDMI port on it, could you tell me who makes this particular card? Cheers.

I'm just glad to finally see an AMD chipset with an improved south-bridge. The SB600 was really never that good. It's just too bad that AMD isn't doing like Nvidia in one respect. I'd like to see that IGP be used as a physics processor with either one, or two, 4800 series cards in place. As it stands, limiting the hybrid Cross-Fire to just "low-ball" cards, makes me feel like I would be buying a significant amount of silicon that will ONLY be disabled. Hopefully they'll start upgrading the 790FX board designs to use the SB750 soon. 8)

It is the Visiontek. I picked it up at Best Buy for $84.99 (You can buy it online starting at $55). I not used the HDMI for any playback.

Does this mobo supports Phenom 9850BE? According to the asus website http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpus ... uage=en-us it is not supported. But the review was done with it. Any issues to overclocking? Bios Issues?

any comments on sound quality? Specifically, is the audio circuitry quiet?

I've just had a go at an HTPC using the Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-D2SH and the poor audio is unacceptable - tons of high frequency noise being picked up over the bus, even with a high end PCI sound card.

I heard that this board bios still have problem with 9850BE, have it been fixed?
Anyone know?
some says is better to work with 9750...
suggestion?

Was thinking to build it with 9850BE, and Saphire 4870.

I had no issues at all once I got a decent BIOS and some of the settings set correctly.

I did not spend a lot of time with the sound. From what I heard 9I know that is very subjective) it sounded just fine. Not any noise that I noticed.

Once again, I had no issues once I got a half way decent BIOS.

Sorry it took so long to answers these guys. We made a move and I am still digging out from boxes.
