Thermaltake Shark Review

Yet another astounding case from Thermaltake, and not borrowed from another manufacturer's design either! Way to go TT.

Thermaltake has been building some quality aluminum tower cases lately and today we'll be given the opportunity to swim with their SHARK, aluminum full-tower. The semantics behind the name have less to do with the predatory reputation of the fish and more with a entity which has attained an evolutionary plateau. Thermaltake's SHARK lives up to it's aquatic reputation in that it's designed to house Thermaltake watercooling products (as well as other water-cooling systems). Today were going to look into model VA7000BWA, the block alumnum version featuring all the accoutrements the devoted PC-enthusiast and/or watercooling hobbyist could hope for.

That is a pretty killer looking case. I haven't seen a case WITHOUT a window that I've liked in some time, but this Shark from Thermaltake is the exception. Keith got pretty detailed in this review and hopefully our readers will have a good feel for this model after reading the article.

I definitely prefer the side panel compared with the rather drab large square windows that most cases offer.

I can't remember if keith addressed if that mesh is plexi backed or not.

Edit: he did, the free flow design is ingenuitive(sp?) but will also probably add to the dust accumulation :\
