Razer Destructor Pro Mouse Pad Review

Mouse pads are not exactly a common item reviewed here at Legit Reviews, but today we have the Razer Destructor and for $42 this mouse pad is in a class of its own. The pad has a Razer Fractal textured surface that is said to allow enhance precision movements. The pad even has a proprietary gunmetal coating to yield a highly reactive surface. Is this mouse pad worth the $42 it takes to get it?

Hats off to Austin for a great first article... It's tough to write about a mouse pad, but he did it and did a great job!

I've got the Razer eXactmat (which I got for free BTW) and I really like it...I think it retails for about the same as the Destructor and while it is nice I don't see a reason to have it unless you're a hardcore gamer with a seriously high DPI mouse (my mouse is only 1600DPI so I doubt the pad is being used to its full potential). Plus the aluminum is like a heat sink for your fingertips...great in the summer but I have had my hand go numb in the cooler months.

Also, who wrote this one? just says "Legit Staff"...

Thanks for the review. It's hard to think of spending almost $50 on a mouse pad. Maybe if I were given one free as above ^^^ (thought different model).

I use a Razer Mantis in the office that I got from a LAN party... works great and the price was right - free

yeah, this pad LOVES the deathadder's feet, it glides so perfectly

hmm, i sincerely doubt that was a coincidence, considering this is a razer pad out of curiosity what sensitivity do you play at skier?

actually it was... I sent him the Razer Destructor without knowing what mouse he owned or what he was using on it ;)

i play at highest DPI(1800) and frequency(1000MHz)i just turn the sensitivity down a bit

I have this mat and a Lachesis. All I have to say is that the glide is smooth as silk and very reaction.
