Asides from the simple act of operating as a motherboard, the Rampage Extreme looks like a work of art and could almost be a coffee table centerpiece. IMO not having a 10R southbridge really hurts this board. considering many people buying it will probably be using hte logic "Well im not updating to nahalem and time soon so i might as well have the best LGA775 Board", i think its a bad choice not to have a 10r as ssd's will be more and more common as time goes on

TweakIt looks magic, I can't wait to see it on more boards. The ability to have that much control over settings while windows is up and running is sure to make basic overclocking much quicker to get stable.

Wouldn't it technically be considered cheating by futuremark (or whatever benchmark you are running) if you are listed as having a certain FSB speed and then you have messed with it all mid benchmark?

I really hope other board manufacturers pick up on TweakIt. As for it being cheating, FutureMark already does a terrible job a detecting frequencies. It is however definitely bending the rules as I've heard of completely 3D06 runs with several hundred MHz higher through the 3D tests versus the CPU test. I'd like to look at it more as fine tuning the system to the tests

When I went to Taipei I had the asoos pronunciation hammered into my head with all the asians pronouncing it. Everyone here in America makes fun of me for it but I know I'm right

I don't buy Asus motherboards anymore. Regardless of how stellar they may perform. I just don't have any confidence that the board I get will work as well as the samples given out for review.
