The Lian Li PC-A7010 carries a whopping $295 price tag and is most definitely a high end case. With the time I have spent with the PC-A7010 I now know why some enthusiasts covet the Lian Li cases so much. The build quality is amazing, as it should be for an investment close to $300. The SATA backplane is a nice feature. It will clean up a lot of cable clutter and make things look very nice, even though it is hidden behind the case side...

I was between this one and the Lian Li PC-77 ( I finally choose PC-77).
It has not the upper "3x120mm FAN ready" panel as this one has (optional for 2 or 3 fans). The 7010 does. But the room inside has more possibilities and space for watercooling.
It has not the HDD connectors as the 7010 has.

The most fantastic thing is the HDD bay mounting system (both have ;)). I love it! I'm sure all of you who usually mount-dismount disks will love it also. I wish I could purchase more separately for my old PC-70.

Also PC-70 has the upper control panel with 3 termocouples (with 3 temperatures to set up and alarm), 3 fan controls, a clock and HDD status led. This is something 7010 hasn't. :(

Finally Lian Li 120mm fans are actually very quiet. But if you are used to noctura's P-12 or similar, they'll sound quite loud to you.

Here is how it looks a cheaper PC-77A:

Ah I forgot! The black finish of Lian Li looks very dirty with any hand contact. If you can, take the aluminium color version. I had a PC-70 of that color (in 2002 LianLi finish was better btw!) and was more suffered to dust and fingerprints.

This is a very nice looking case and very functional, however and this might be just me, but the ports could have had some kind of recessed angled access panel with a fan speed control knob and ports. The way it is now with that thin little door cheapens the look of an otherwise great looking case. But the features over all by far out shine that one little detraction.

Very nice case. Hard to justify the money spent on this though. I'll check out the website and pick one for my wishlist this holiday/birthday season. :)
