Touring Kingston Technology's Memory Facility In Taiwan

For overseas press visiting Taiwan, one of the coolest things you can get invited to do is tour the manufacturing facilities of the world's leading technology companies. This year Legit Reviews was invited to tour Kingston Technology's Taiwan Facility and watch as they made DDR3 SODIMM modules. This is a must see for anyone who's wondered how bare materials turn into a part of a PC.
Day 3 at Computex 2010 here in Taiwan and Legit Reviews was given a chance to visit the Kingston manufacturing facility in Hsin-Chu. Here is a just a bit of what we saw!
The Kingston Taiwan manufacturing plant is about 80 kilometers southwest of Taipei, in an industrial technology park in Hsin-Chu, a city of about 350,000 people that is near Taiwan's west coast. The subtropical weather was in full effect for our visit so there was a steady rain that made it difficult for taking pictures outside.

Interesting. Do you know if we can pick up one of these? I wonder if laptop RAM is better suited at OCing since it's intended environment.

I'm trying to get information on how to get my hands on one! I kept hinting around but no one stepped up to let me know where I could get it. ;) I'm sure they are available, just have to do a good search.

Ever been to Houston? Not as bad as LA or Atlanta but the traffic sucks. Especially over in that part of town, Galleria area/Bellaire.

never left the east coast, not much traffic here, but not much to look at either so its really boring driving more than an hour(interstate=hours and hours of pine spruce and oak)
wow thread hijack.
i doubt the mem converter would be useful for overclocking as laptop mem isnt made to be overclocked, and is at much lower speeds than desktop memory to begin with, cool concept, not logical though.
