AMD A8-5600K Trinity Desktop APU Review

The AMD A8-5600K APU is a quad-core processor that has a 3.6 GHz and can reach 3.9 GHz when in Turbo Boost. The A8-5600K APU uses the AMD Radeon HD 7560D GPU that offers a 760Mhz graphics processor with 256 radeon cores. The A8-5600K APU is a socket FM2 chip and is available online for $100. Well, the comparison with the 3770k was a bad decision. It costs like 3x more of either processor
Should have compared with the i3-3220 instead
But yes! The power consumption was a shocker. I never knew AMD ever had a lead on power consumption regardless of the "box" ratings
3770K says "77W" Sure ... Thought i'm not sure how much it's dissipating but 120W is sure alot, especially when the supposedly more power hungry "95W" proc chews less and probably gives out much less than a 3770k (AMD overrating their parts here?) Many people seem to think the 55W on IB i3 parts is for power consumption which is not! I doubt it's going to chew less than a A10-5700
