I have been talking about doing a system guide for a number of years, but the time has come to finally release our system pricing guides. With a clean & simple layout these guides are easy to use and feature live pricing.
These pricing guides are aimed at gamers, enthusiasts, and first time computer builders. By making three price points we have built systems for AMD and Intel users that LR staff members would be proud to personally own.
You can find the Legit Reviews System Guides Here:

not so sure i like the choice of case, as its used for all 3 levels... I know that if i was building a 1500+ rig i would be looking for a much better case.

Depends on the user of course, but I use that case in my personal system without any issues. Remember this guide is aimed more at the novice users than anything else. 95% of the DIY market doesn't need a case bigger than the Sonata I or II. Very few people use water cooling, run more than 2 hard drives, and want a huge case!

bubba, I talked with ECS about your dual GPU question and ECS informed me that their 945P-A motherboard does not support Crossfire or SLI even though it has two PCIe slots.

ok, thanks. they might want to fix their site though. just got confused when the site it had crossfire then comments on newegg from people flipping out that it didnt do either one.

More from ECS after I asked why even have two full size PCIe slots on the 945P-A
The purposes of having two PCI-E slots are:
1. SDGE- ECS patent pending technology
2. dual display
