After hours and hours of gaming with the Gila, I am honestly impressed. I wasn’t believing of those chiseled edges, the silly car lights, and the laundry list of mundane features on the box. I didn’t feel fatigue or pain after gaming sessions and after incessantly clicking things for hours on the internet.

Is this people related to Roccat at all?
I got the Kone XTD and the box is pretty much a copy of the Roccat one and even the software looks very similar.

I'm inclined to assume the similarity of the boxes was coincidental despite the fact that the Gila's packaging also has a magnet holding the flap to the box. A number of children's toys are packaged in similar ways.

The software however, does have some uncanny resemblances. The blue border in the picture below is actually the XTD driver window underneath the Gila software. Despite this, the large number of differences leads me to speculate that the two programs may have been grown separately from the same developers kit. Afterall, most if not all 8200 DPI laser sensors are made by Avago.
