What are the UAS Protocol drivers and do they work with win 7? If yes, how to get them?

Fixed... had strong+H3 tags when it should have just been H3 for the page title... Ugh...

And stop using Ad blocker... That is how the site brings in its income!

They do, but it depends on your board or device maker from my understanding. I have found ASUS and ASRock to have the most support for UASP, but Gigabyte does have some.

Thanks Nate. So how do I get the drivers. Where can I find them and why aren't they included in windows update or with the MOBO drivers?

I also don't understand, how come I never heard about these drivers, if they make such a difference with not just USB3.0 but also some with USB2.0? Is it just one of the tricks to make people switch to windows 8 if they want some features?
