Solid-State Drive (SSD) prices are continuing to drop and capacities are increasing, so more and more gamers are looking to install games on an SSD over a traditional spinning hard drive. One of the first things that a gamer will notice when moving from a hard drive to an SSD are reduced loading time in games between menus and cut scenes. Anyone else old enough to remember RAM drives. Take part of your system memory and load a game onto it and run from there rather than a hard drive. Do they still have programs to split your system memory to do that? Is it possible now a days? With the size of the games you would need a lot of memory but would be sweet to see if performance was any better of stuck close to the pcie card times.
