Yes I am! The PSU shot craps a couple years ago and the cooler hums every once in a while, but other than that its pretty solid!
I don't do much PC gaming anymore so it suits my needs!
If you really look at my sig you can probably guess one of its uses!
One of these days, I'll be looking into a Ryzen replacement!

The Corsair 600T is a nice case, but has no visual appeal, so I'm always looking for a new home for the rest of the setup!

Just use the default Fast 1080p30 preset and change nothing else. The result will be in the logs under the Tools tab. This will give you an idea of what you have now versus what I am testing today. It should take about 10 minutes to complete.

I could see how you would come to the conclusion that I rip discs, but I do not!
The hint would be the BD Burners(x2)!

With that said, it has been crossing my mind to get away from my old school ways and setup some sort of a NAS/Server.
The stacks are starting to get out of hand!

Yes, you need to move to an external SSD or a NAS device ASAP. It's an excellent solution.

3) 2TB Hard Drive for $59.99 - https://amzn.to/2Inf8lU (Maybe buy two to RAID them for redundancy - low cost $120 backup for 2TB)

That is all you need to backup all your content digitally. It's so nice and convenient. The software now supports 4K Ultra HD media as well, so you can digitally back up everything. Stick it on a USB drive and you can plug it straight into a HDTV. Walmart has a 55" Hisense 55DU6500 4K UHD HDR Smart TV for $299 that doesn't support Cinavia technologies. I have that model, so if you have any questions let me know. Amazing setup for the price and no Cinavia to mess up any movie playback. Try doing that with a bigger name brand TV or any Bluray player on the market today. I always laugh when my friends run out and spend $1000+ on a TV and it doesn't look any better than my Hisense model and has all the DRM technologies enabled.

LMAO, I hit the OMG point a few years ago!

Anydvd is a very good tool combined with CloneDVD and CloneBD!(Slysoft to RedFox)
Anydvd does have a feature to eliminate the Cinavia watermark when used with CloneBD!
Although that does not work with DVDs yet, I have only come across a few DVDs that had the cinavia mark.

As far as TVs go, you're gonna have a hard time getting me to give up my Plasma's!
I do have a cheap Samsung 4k UHD HDR that so far has filled my needs! It doesnt have many features, but it works!
To be honest I'm not sure if it does support cinavia!?! I either stream or play BDs with it!
The BD player I have is old enough that cinavia isnt a factor!
Anydvd eliminates cinavia issues anyway!

Still have my 50" Panasonic 720p plasma!!!!! LOVE IT! Lasted longer and looks better than any other lcd/led tv we have owned.

I do not compress any of my bluray/dvds so I use this...

External NAS is a high upfront cost (if you need a big one like I did) but then it settles down for a bit until you need to upgrade your hard drives in it - still rocking my Synology 1512+ , now with 8TB drives in it. Probably the best investment I ever made. Newer models are faster with more features for about the same price I paid for mine ($800 with no drives - on January 15, 2013 - thanx Amazon purchase history lol). and you can step up to 8-drive bays for about $150 or so more.

correct, but the the audio is downgraded to AC3, not the original audio signal. It ads a little distortion, but not bad. I'd rather leave it though and just use players and TV's that don't support it ;)

The Samsung SSD T3 works great and is what I use. Works in the home and on the road in the Pacifica.

I still have my 50" Samsung 720P plasma! The only TV I spent more than $1k for!($1100) That was a long time ago!
I still watch it every once in a while, but it's been replaced with a newer 60" Samsung 1080P Plasma.
Sad day when they quit making Plasma's.

I never thought about how they dealt with cinavia, downgrading the audio makes sense!
Not that i agree with that!
Now you've made me curious to how much of a difference there really is!
