XFX 8800 GTX XXX Edition Graphics Card Review

Today Legit Reviews looks at the XFX 8800 GTX 'XXX' edition, which is an overclocked 8800 GTX that comes with clock frequencies of 630MHz on the GPU and 2.0GHz memory. The reference design provided by Nvidia runs on a 575 MHz GPU and 1.8 MHz memory clock. We compare the XFX 8800 GTX to 18 other PCIe video cards and see how it performs against our other test cards.
We weren't able to increase the core speed over the shipped specification of 630MHz but it was capable of 100MHz overclock on the memory, coming in at 1050MHz (2.1GHz effective). Let's see how that translates into performance...

man I am sure people who got hte gtx will be pissed:), you pay the same thing yet this card is much better performer, how 2 month make a diff:).

its just overclocked. I'm sure people can oc there clock to the same levels

i just wish i had a real job so that i could buy one of these beautiful pieces of equipment....instead i work at a shampoo factory....sigh

when you are logged in go to the post you want to quote and on the right hand side will be a 'quote' tab... hit that and it will start a reply with all the text in it.
