You guys, eVGA is only doing what is really American: suing to make enough money so you can do what they just did and not get caught!

yet not very Legit... :P

The reson that they probably used your pic Nate is because it doesn't look photoshopped like the original one on hardware.info (expect for the logo of course) also, it's a higher quality photo. You would think that they would just buy a XFX card and bring that into court but whatever...it just really irks me that eVGA is responding like this.

Ironically, they used a pic from a site where almost none of the users disapprove of XFX's little prank. Nobody is allowed to have fun anymore cause you might hurt somebody's feelings.

Hopefully it is a fair trial and both sides get to speak their piece. Oh well, as long as both company's continue to put out great products, it doesn't bother me too much. And thats my two cents :drinkers:

BTW, wrong Inquirer cybernetic

HAHA... no kidding!!!... I think LR would have a better chance in a lawsuit for using an LR image with the LR layover... it would be defamation of the LR name in making viewers think that LR supplied the image and that LR supported EVGA's suit.

But wait a minute... EVGA's name was in dog drool... in a dog's mouth... so I guess that would be painful... LOL!!

Does anyone really think that this case will even make it to trial?

I doubt very seriously that this thing will go on for more than a month before we see a press release about the two companies settle for "undisclosed" terms.

...either that, or a merger between the two cause they both ran out of money fighting each other in court. How about EV-XFX?

Of course it won't go very far unless eVGA bought out the preliminary hearing's judge. It might not even go that far! They are, most likely, doing it to "freak" XFX out and show them that they weren't laughing after all was said and done...

It would've have been so much better for eVGA if they had a comeback on THEIR 8600GT, with higher clocks, of course..

~Ibrahim~

P.S. I'm sure eVGA is feeling the pain, the pain of losing customers to a faster product, (620Mhz versus 576MHz).
