I'm more concerned about location based services that would come into play. I know most of us are switched on already, but hey, you can put the phone down if you want to. I prefer potato powered bluetooth.

What if you don't have lily-white skin?

That is COOL, the blood powered part doesn't really bother me, its the fact that it's Bluetooth that never turns off meaning that big brother can track you anywhere you go and you can't turn it off. I saw a movie like this...Anyway, if they ever commercialized it, I think it'd be nice to get a none Bluetooth version that just displays a image or a calculator or something. It'd be like your own personal PDA. I see the day that we all have ports in our body that we can charge our cellphones...yeah, like the matrix! Wow, I was all over the place with that one, oh well, with this, in addition to this mind control device, I'll go sit in my corner and put my aluminum foil hat back on

It is cool because it is amazing what we can do with technology, but dammit, sometimes I just want to get away from my phone, and a bowie knife is not an ideal way to do that.

If anyone ever gets this installed for real, it is going to be the freakiest thing ever watching phonecall's/video's on your arm!

I'm glad you added the last category as I am both insanely creeped out by it but want to see it for real.

Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you ought to do it.

That's just nasty. I'll pass.
Just a little puppy trying to make it in a big digital world.

Creepy!

What happens when bluetooth is updated or changes - have to have surgery again to remove the old one and replace it?

Mike

Plus, have you ever seen these weight lifting guys and gals? Have you seen them when they are old? ;) So what happens to the numbers as they slide away?

I'm not sure if I want something that creepy under my skin. Wouldn't it feel really weird? But still, it is a cool idea.

I have seen some people who work in a tattoo/piercing place, and they had implanted silicon balls under their skin, so there will be bound to be people who would get this, just depends on if there is enough demand to make it for real.
