Did you Buy a Phone in Q1 2008 (January-March)

I still have my Motorola SLVR, which has been pretty decent since December 2006. The IPhone looks like something I could really use, but I can't afford one right now.

The wife's phone plan came up for renewal, and she was given the option of upgrading her phone to a new model. She chose an LG Fusiq... pretty cool phone, and it's even got a built-in FM Transmitter

8k texts a month

?!?! Is your daughter mute? I cannot comprehend how someone can use 8000 text messages in one month! She is going to get some serious carpal tunnel syndrom.

Co-worker was moaning about both his daughters texting and the fact they very rarely uses it as a phone to contact anyone under the age of 30.

going to buy my wife a Samsung A737 for Mother's Day. If it can stand up to my daughter's 8k texts a month, it should be able to handle 100 texts and plain old phone calls. I'm probably going to get myself a Blackberry Curve. I've been looking at them for a while and have decided the time has come.

I got a new phone in April, the Samsung A737. I really love it so far, and would recommend it although the battery does get warm when it's low on juice.

BTW, I voted no because I ordered my phone in April.

Had to buy a new phone end of January. The old phone's LCD (Sony Ericsson Z525) conveniently stopped working a month after the warranty ended. Seriously, the older phone models were much more resilient. I'd still be using my Nokia 3330 if I hadn't dropped it onto concrete from a 10 ft height.
