I spent 8 years in the Coast Guard. Has anyone else served?

Had breakfast with my father in law this morning. Career Marine in Viet Nam era. Great guy, tremendous respect for what he and others like him have done for our country.

My dad is a Vet and was inlisted during Viet Nam (never went thankfully), and his 92 Year Old Father was in WW2.

You guys do the work for the country. You break your backs to protect ours, and the the backs of people who can't defend themselves.
