My Dad aways said to save my money. Why not put some money in your savings account and see if he thinks that was a good idea. If not, go with him to do his favorite hobby, ex.. Fishing, hunting, hiking. Just spending time with him would be a wonderful memory for the two of you. :)

My dads forever working on plumbing and such for people around the neighborhood. I figured this year I'd get him one of those LED work lights that's rechargeable as he could actually use that.

I'm planning on a day at the range with my dad and the kids. We are going to load up the 22s and shoot some steel plate.

New Nail Gun, made by DeWALT.
It can drive a 16-D nail through a 2 X 4 at 200 yards.

This makes construction a breeze,
you can sit in your lawn chair and build a fence.
Just get your wife to hold the fence boards in place while you sit back,
relax with a cold drink and when she has the board in the right place,
just fire away.
With the hundred round magazine,
you can build the fence with a minimum of reloading.

That would make for a quick job.

I will probably help my dad out on the cabin that we have been working on (and haven't gotten the chance to work on since winter)
