Is this a hot looking car, or what? !!! The "789" Chevy

Post by DL13 »

A friend e-mail this to me , I think this is a HOT looking car.
Nice, very nice…
1957, 1958 & 1959 All Rolled Into One!
This little Chevy is just too cool!
This car was built by N2A Motors
(No Two Alike).
The Cost - $40,000 plus the $44,000
(MSRP) cost of new Corvette C6.
Unbelievable!
The company is planning a production
run of about 100 vehicles.
It sits on a Corvette C6 chassis,
has a front styled like a ‘57 Chevy,
the sides like a ‘58, and a rear end like a ‘59.
- Hence the designation "789"…
You pay for the ‘Vette,
they do the modifications – for a price.

Hard to comment on a car like this. It has so many design cues of other vehicles.

The front nose looks all to much like an AMC Pacer with the round hood coming down over the grill area and the headlights poking outward. That's the only bad news.

The back deck tail area is cool like the old TV bat mobile.

The view from the back is super !!!! If only the newer Vette's has that! WOW oh wow.

The side mirrors don't do a thing. They look too strange sticking outward.

The grill opening and simulated chrome bumper is truly older American muscle like the Hudson Hornet. It has that extreme appeal of power.

How can you compare it with a pacer, it looks nothing like it. Google it you'll see, I did couldn't remember what the pacer looked like :) haven't seen one since the 80's. The guy who design the pacer must have bin stoned at the time.

Its a nice looking car, but those kind of pictures always make me think of Waynes World when they are playing hockey. What happens when they are shooting and another car comes down the road.. Same goes with those other car commercials.
