My department at work is currently looking for an Intern.
We are a large non-profit health care organization in St. Louis, MO.
The team you would be on supports over 720 servers running various flavors of Microsoft Windows on the X86 Intel platform.
Because the position is Intern, there are no benefits and the pay is hourly. I can't divulge the amount, but I think it's over $12 per hour.
For someone starting out, this is a golden opportunity. Even without the benefits and salary, you would be getting the sort of experience that you don't normally get from an entry level position. Not only that, but you'll have early notice of other open positions within the company which you could apply for. Once you get your foot in the door; good, technical people can move up the ladder quickly. If you're interested, PM me. I'll probably ask for a resume. Since this is an Intern position, I'm sure they wouldn't expect much on the resume, but nonetheless, obviously you'll need some sort of technical training behind you to be considered. No, Fry Technician at McDonald's doesn't count.
