I can't believe it's been 5 years. The way it shook the country and the tightened security that was supposed to happen since has been a complete failure. The borders are still wide open here in the US and I for one don't feel a bit 'safer' since the attacks.

The local radio here in Little Rock, Arkansas has been discussing this issue all morning and my heart still breaks over this tragedy. I am still filled with anger at those that performed this evil deed and at those that chose to ignore the warnings and do nothing to stop it. The world has changed and we must always be on alert, because you truly never know when, who or even the why.

May the Good Lord always keep each of you safe and remind us that no matter the circumstance that we should not live our lives in fear of the animals that would hold us hostage.
