Timeouts...

Post by DMB2000uk »

I know that the server has been pretty stressed lately, but has anyone else been timing out today?

Wait, stupid question, because everyone in the states is/was still in bed.

This is the tracert while timing out, as far as I can tell it looks like it is legit reviews that was timing out:

I have figured out the problem and to be honest our hosting provider MeditTemple.net has no clue what is going on.

It seems that the Virtuozzo layer of the server is becoming mounted on a regular time schedule and MetiaTemple.net has no clue on how to fix it. We have the fastest server they off and the most expensive package to boot. There is nothing that can be updated or improved on our end and their admin servers say "wow" when they look at the logs... I've had an open work ticket with MediaTemple.net for over a week and had no luck. I just got off the phone with them now and a guy that knows me told me to call the CEO and complain this afternoon.

To be honet I'm going to ask for a couple months of my money back as I'm not happy with the level of service LR has been getting and at this point wouldn't suggest anyone to use them.

To answer your question... when I woke up at 6am Central time the server was down and had to be restarted by the cpanel to get it live again... Not too happy and can't wait till this package arrives: Fed Ex 905662951555

I think I know.......Is it flat? LOL

Dan, the reason there are "request timed out" in your trace routes, means nothing! The router, server or firewall has just blocked ICMP (ping)
That;'s not to say there isn't a problem.....

Woot.

Hey, maybe there should be a section of the forum for forum ?'s and issues and a sandbox for people trying to figure out how to insert images etc.
