The tech support is so true.
I once called about my cell phone. They needed me to give her my mother's SS# so I could access the acount to pay the family plan when my mother was in Canada.
I knew what the first two numbers were, but not the last two. Guess what she had me do? She had me count from 00 to 99. Part way through I got to the number and she said, "OK, sir. You can stop counting now that you have given me the correct last four digits of the main account holder's social security number."
