cause all i've done all evening has been sitting here, looking up prices on flash drives and wishing i had enough money to finally build my new rig...

it doesnt help that my case is sitting so temptingly riiiiiight next to me. taunting me.

i think i need a drink or two.

Greetings from York, PA. It seems that we arent that far from each other. Ironically enough, Im getting the same Antec case that you have.

I found a number of cases that look better, but this one seems to have solid construction, roominess, ventilation, and plenty of 120mm fans. It also has a $50 rebate now from newegg.

I want the 8800, but I will most likely wait for the 8600's. I initially opted for the 7900gs, but someone talked me into the dx10 series. PRICEY buggers!

hahaha but its true, you do end up getting what you pay for :-D
lol not that far away, well... a full days drive about but not that bad.
i'm really hoping that the prices drop for the 8800gtx's seeing as this is my first build and i want the top of the line stuff for it

but as for the case, i've always been one of those guys who sees those tricked out cars and i have the urge to "un-pimp" them (as the VW commercial goes

)
but i saw that case, read a few reviews, and it's gonna be one of the last cases i get for a LONG time. it's a tank!!! i woulnt recommend it, but if push came to shove and you needed a seat, you could sit on it, no problem!

out of curiousity, i put my PSP inside on full volume, and the dampener insulation did wonders to it, i barely heard it from the front of the case...
now like i've been recommending, if you havent already placed your order, do what i did and check out the Antec B-Stock site

maybe it's cheaper there? they say something about "scratch and dents" but mine is blemish free, so no problems there. take a look man!

Don't envy me... once my wife gets the credit card statement next month and sees I just ordered parts for a Folding@Home dedicated rig. ;)
