The Indy 500 Peguin Car

Post by Alathald »

Not sure how many of you have heard about this but I just ran across and thought "hey, thats pretty cool". Basic, there has been a push to get a linux car on the track at the Indianapolis 500. It'd been pretty cool to see such a big boost for linux, might even help to knock good ol' Bill down a couple notchs...anyway, here's the link.

"GO PENGIUN GO!!!"

BTW the reason I found this is because I'm trying to reseach writing a linux distro for a car (a project FAR off in the future but hey why not research now) so if you could point me in the right direction (as in a site or forum dedicated to writing distros for linux), I'd be much obliged.

That would be pretty cool!

Once it actually happened it would be interesting to see what Microsoft's response would be at the next race...
