There was some show on Discorery or TLC from a ways back... apparently some small to medium-light tanks are still road legal in the UK as long as they don't shred the road surface too badly. I still recall one scene of a tank driving down the road, it looked remarkably similar to this one including the white paintjob. Would certainly be an excellent way to deal with traffic jams, even without the live ammunition... O:)

That tank limo has to be noisey as heck though to ride inside, but night-vision capability could be very useful to have if it's the newer equipment that can better filter oncoming headlights!

I saw something about that too... I guy had road treads on his sherman tank and drove it from london to paris or something like that.

It would be cool to go for a tank limo ride, but it would be a pretty jaring ride...they are really jerky when they turn! you dont want to have a full glass of champagne dump on you at an intersection.

ive seen somthing like this in australia jsut recently some one stole one of the guys armoured apc's (from ww2) and went on a rampage, this guy went destroying mobile phone towers until he ran out of fuel..

Now the lesson learnt here was make sure you have a full tank!

Hm, well that doesn't look to be as bad as one we've had locally. That sound remarkably similar to something that happened in San Diego. Some guy went on a rampage throughout the city, before he (by some ack of providence) got the tank stuck on a concrete barrier. He had plenty of gas, and if he had hit the barrier at any further of an angle he would have gone right through/over it into the oncoming traffic. :| http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vESIVemfG8

That's totally sweet! The neighbors already think we're strange... they would go nuts if that pulled into our driveway.
