I overall liked the movie... It was different, but still pretty good. They left it open to a sequel called District 10 though - big time

I saw it last night. Amazing. Probably one of the best Sci Fi movies that's come out in years because it actually has a point. This is what the remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still should have been like in terms of quality of story. The special effects are on par with anything else I've seen in recent history.

ILM, watch your backs, you're about to have competition for the first time in about 20 years.
