Well after flying more than 8,000 miles I have made it from St. Louis, Missouri to Taipei, Taiwan. It's great to be back in Taiwan and the people are just as friendly as the last time I was here. The flight over went great and had no problems at all until I arrived. I was supposed to have a driver that was to pick me up at the airport that didn't show. After finding the hotel on a map with a police officer I was able to get a cab to take me to the hotel that I was told to go to. Once I arrived they told me that I did not have a room there and that my hotel was another one about 10 minutes away (NT $1200 gone on that first taxi ride). So after nearly 20 hours of straight flying I trying to find a hotel that had my reservation (great planning ECS....)
I finally made it to my room and went over to the show to pick up the press badges and got a chance to meet with a couple companies while they setup their stuff... More to come tomorrow!
