Baseball playoffs

Is there anything better than playoff baseball in October? Even though my team had a horrible season and didn't make the playoffs I have barely been able to take my eyes of the TV during these games, by far the best baseball of our generation........made even sweeter by the fact the "Evil Empire" collapsed and is now sitting at home after leading the series 3-0. Both the AL and NL championship series go seven games, almost half of the games go extra innings...gotta love it.

I hate baseball, but I've been watching several of the games...it's starting to grow on me.
I'm a Cards fan, but if they win tonight, I can't say that I'll be disappointed with who wins the World Series -- One way it is my team, and the other way the "Curse of the Bambino is lifted after like 85 years. I think there was a lot of irony with the Sox - being the first team to come back after 3-0, the 6th time to the World Series, and on top of that, beating the Yankees in their own stadium -- that was the icing on the cake. I think secretly I kind of hope they win the series, even if they are up against the Cards!

There is nothing better than baseball in October and I have never been so excited for a game as I am for the Cardinals game tonight. I'm not a big fan of any other sport so I can't wait till they win the World Series!!!

Oh, I'm torn . . . do I cheer for the Cards (even though I'm not from STL), or do I betray the "hometeam" and hope for the breakage of a curse? *sigh* I'm afraid, Sox, that you'll just have to come back next year. GO CARDS!!

Nate, was just messing with you about the Stros, doesn't matter as my team lost 99 games this year and totally sucked (Seattle Mariners). I'm rooting for the Sox in the series though, have always liked the Red sox, Fenway Park, and anyything that beats the Wankees.

At least the Cardinals made it to the World Series....not a whole lot you can say besides that. I feel sorry for them.

Well, the Cards put in a good effort (until the last 4 games). Looks like they met their match. Congrats to the Sox -- they deserved it!
