Nice, looks to be in pretty decent shape for 57.

Going for a street rod or concourse resto?

Well after taking off the front panels we expected to see a whole load of rust, but we didn't so thats a good sign!

Im guessing that ConCourse means original? but We are trying to get an original look it doesnt have the original rims but they have some ice alloy rims.

i will get more pics next time im down their.

If he goes black, do lacquer. It cost a smidgen more but the finish is just beautiful.

I thought I posted here last night. Oh well, don't drink and surf I guess.

I found a 2-door Chev for $500 years ago. Got a job in B.C. and my parents wouldn't let me keep the car at their place (1 acre+) I sold it for $300. Worst mistake of my life. I looked at these pictures and almost cried. Beautiful. Unless the car isn't going to be used really, the best is to restification it. Put it together, just better. Keep the original appearance on the outside and most of the interior. I miss my 150... would freak if I could ever find a Bel-Air.

There's a company near here that sells turn-key replicas of the 1957 http://www.prototyperesearch.com/57chev.htm

I also see they're reproducing the bodys now: http://www.carsinc.com/

Maybe I should find a rusty 110 and make a Bel-Air convertable? :)
