Dinner Plans - giant hairball

It may not be the most appetizing reading before a hearty holiday meal, but the New England Journal of Medicine is devoting part of its Thanksgiving issue to a giant hairball -- and not the feline kind.

Before I did any reading, I thought they had cut off some kind of appendage off some poor hopeless animal or something.

Okay, how the hell do you go as long as she had before seeing a doctor? I mean, for Christ's sake, she was vomiting after trying to eat anything & lost over 40lbs in a month... c'mon ... DuH!!! There ain't no Jenny Craig that can help you do that!
