I ran across this video on youtube...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHzKJ3yQ0jU

Out of curiosity I went to their website and downloaded the trial software. I have been playing around in the software and think this is a pretty cool "tool" (I use the term tool loosely with this thing). Anyone ever seen this thing in person or played with one?

I haven't played with one of these, but have used other CNC machines.
I know they sell these at sears so they may have "demo days"
Could be fun (and productive) if you had $2-3000 to spend (base maching is near $2k, and almost everything else is an accessory (extra $$$$)

It would be cool if you could use it to cut designs into computer panels. That $2K seems like a lot until I looked around at it's competitors. There is a company called Shopbot that sells a similar machine for $4K with no software  . Maybe I'll check out one of the demo days, I live pretty close to a Sears.
