HEMA Department Store

Post by Indignity »

Pasted from an email I received.. found it pretty cool, so I thought I'd share :D .... by the way, I did a search first Dan lol :P
Great web site, be patient.

Talk about great web page design!!!!

Leave it to the Dutch to have a really neat catalog.

HEMA is a Dutch department store. The first store opened on November 4,
1926, in Amsterdam . Now there are 150 stores all over the Netherlands.
In June of this year, HEMA was sold to British investment company Lion Capital.

Take a look at http://producten.hema.nl which is their product page. You
can't order anything and it's in Dutch, but just wait a couple of
seconds and watch what happens.

This company has a sense of humor and a great computer programmer!

That is pretty cool, didn't see it the first time around.

I loved the flame and smoke effect, very cool looking.
