An interesting slip in the research-eu magazine. It has some beautiful sat images of earth.
This issue, produced in cooperation with the Helmholtz Association, combines Art and Science in a series of surprising satellite images. A world tour in technicolour…

By the way i had seen the Earth at night pic before, you can find it full-sized (i think its around 30mb) in the web. Its fantastic!

There are some interesting pics there, its a shame you can't see them all in better res and detail.

Ya its really a shame. But if you look for earth at night by nasa at a torrent site you can find it fullsize. Don't know about the rest.
Ah i found it so i post the link. It's 39mb's. The guy that uploaded it says it's legal etc, i don't know. If you think it's not then delete the link
