Bought myself a new watch

I decided I need a new watch.
My old watch died over a year ago and since then I've used my phone, which is very annoying.

It should be here by the end of the week ;)

They a lot cheaper via Amazon. The MSRP is $500, but you can get it for $375
For me it cost, €330 which also includes ~€60 for taxes and import fees. Not bad for a handmade watch.
I don't mind paying the extra for something like a watch.........it should last for years!

Nice, classy looking, looks to be of quality build too.

I haven't yet been able to justify the cost of a real nice watch for myself, this is the one I generally wear:

I can only wear a windup. :( For some dumb reason my body kills watches in a short period of time. Like less than two weeks.

That's on sharp looking time piece with all of those fancy additional dials. =D>

I haven't worn a watch in years. Tried to start wearing one again couple months ago but I just can't stand it, it bugged me to no end.

Thank you for the Happy St. Particks Day!

I don't wear a watch anymore. I don't really care what time it is anymore :) If a watch makes you feel good than by all means enjoy :)

I too have been using my phone since my watch died, wow that was a long time ago.

Even my watch strap lack-of-tan is completely gone :P

I haven't worn a watch in quite some time also, i've become used to using the sun to tell time, the computer works well as a clock when I'm inside and too lazy to go outside, of course :)

Nice looking watch, I miss mine, I"ve lost it twice now and the second time has been about a year or so now and I know I won't see it again.

NICE watch!

Are they the ones that will set the time themselves, or are they the ones that never need new batteries?

Mike

I used to like the big clunky digital watches. I even had the geekiest, the one with the calculator built in it

They never need batteries, you do need to set the time manually though.
When I came into work yesterday, it was waiting for me in reception :)
I only ordered it on Sunday, by Monday lunch time it had made it's way from the US to Germany.
I can't complain, delivered in 3days from the US aint bad!
It's VERY heavy, but I'll get used to it.
I like it a lot as it looks formal, yet not too formal.

I'll post a pic or two when I get home this evening.
