It was cold this morning and I couldn't get motivated to fire up the test systems at 5am, so I went to get some hot tea. On the way to finding what tea I wanted to make I found some Ghirardelli Premium Hot Cocoa packets that were Double Chocolate! They were sent to me in a Christmas basket a number of months ago and I forgot I had them. I mixed it up with some warm milk, and oh my it is some of the best Cocoa I have ever had!

If you ever want to try some you can pick some up for $12.95 for a box of 20 of them. At 65 cents a drink (plus milk) it sure beats a Starbucks drink!

ghiradelli makes the best chocolate every thing. those squares with the mint filing in them especially. i could eat twice my weight in those, and thats saying something

Well . . . dogs are dogs and therefore are all quite okay with me. Don't know if corgies (Cardigan or Pembroke?) are yuppie, but am pretty sure that my three Great Danes are not. Too slobbery and friendly to be truely an icon of the Y-people.

Thumbs up for chocolate, though!

PS: my daughter highly recommends Swiss Miss with an Andes mint chopped up in the bottom of the cup.

Cute dog. Looks like one of my neighbor's new puppies. Since the topic of the thread was originally hot cocoa, will remind everyone that chocolate is poisonous to dogs. Actually the theobromine in it is. And, it is dose-dependant, so a little dog like that could never withstand a dose that wouldn't even effect my 150lb boys.

So, enjoy the cocoa, but keep it out of the dog's reach.

Howz' bout Swiss Miss with a handful of extra marshmallows thrown on top and a huge cover of heavy whipped cream?

Lol corgis are so not yuppy; they're cow-herding doggies, bred low to the ground so cows cant kick em. however, they are great for getting numbers

As for the cocoa, I'm cheap so it's either Swiss Miss or homemade if I want something really good...only time I spend more than I should on chocolate is buying high quality dark (~77%) chocolate bars...now that pwns

Voted. For Swiss Miss. In the interest of full disclosure, my wife loves Ghirardelli, though. When I first had Ghirardelli, I thought it was pretty darn good too, but after a few it was too rich, so back to Swiss Miss for me.

As opposed to cocoa, any dog is fine, though. Corgi, Yorkie, Dane, Basenji, Mutt, etc. Whatever.

been a Ghirardelli guy for a loooong time... only thing that is on par with it is Droste cocoa mix (from Holland)
