Legit Staff Wanted!

Legit Reviews is looking to add a couple more talented people to the staff to help keep the site running and growing at its current pace. We always prefer to get our dedicated readers involved, so now is the time to speak up if you are interested.

Right now we are looking for entry level help.

LR is mainly seeking 'news editors' to help with news posts on the main page and keeping the forums interesting. If you are already into tech news this would be perfect for you. We are also looking for people to become hardware editors, so if you think you could be a great reviewer this would be the place to prove yourself and work up to becoming part of the hardware review industry.

Please post here if you have any questions or shoot me an e-mail.

Well I would love to be a hardware reviewer, but the fact of the matter is that I'm running comp-reviews.com. I would be willing to still review for you guys and leave the reviews for only you guys, pretty much keep the two seperate. And as you see I already have the experience with the writing of the reviews along with a good knowledge of html and such. I own a socket 754 system and have easy access to both Socket A systems and Socket 939 systems.

If this doesnt meet your standards, I would also be extremely willing to help out on the forums, moderator or w/e you need.

I know that I am new to LegitForums, but I was involved in the hardware review scene a few years ago.

I started out with a site called PCInsight (a few of my reviews from there can be found on http://www.pcstats.com now), and then wrote a few for Got|Apex? and FutureLooks.

I stopped doing this due to some other issues that needed to be resolved personally, but feel that I would definately be able to resume this hobby (which is how I treated product reviewing from the very beginning).

One thing I'm curious on is the committment required. Is there a set minimum amount of articles / reviews you'd like to see from a potential reviewer? In other words, are you looking for someone who can write reviews weekly, or would 2-4 a month be reasonable?

I do plan on writing a full-fledged review of my Dell Inspiron XPS2 gaming laptop once I receive it later this week, and would be more than happy to submit it to you to illustrate my review skills.

I think something worth mentioning is that we aren't just looking for people who want free schwag....but people who are dedicated, want to help others, and help us make the community grow.
To me, this stuff is very important, this is a very tight knit and very honest group who will do anything they possibly can for our members.

Like I said Ive made reviews before. I am on another site rigt now but he doesnt want any more people to be on staff. This would become my main site from now on.

I reviewed my own hardware and what I have won in contests. I love doing reviews and giving people heads up on what the new products will be like.

See capper, thats the thing. There is never a lack of people who want to jump on the bandwagon. They here, free hardware for review, and jump on board.

I must admit, when I started up my review site back last may, It was due to the allure of free hardware stories. I quickly found that it's no where NEAR as easy as it sounds :\ Especially being new in a market that is already ultra-saturated.

But now, after reviewing for a while, I realize that its a hobby, something I do during free time, something of which i often have more then I need.

I love writing, and the allure of beautiful hardware combined with writing is very very hard to resist :)

See, that what I'm talking about. I'd love to have you aboard. I just want people to realize we are here to help others and educate the masses about buying decisions, not just for free gear. this is not an easy or stress free job...hell, Nate has no hair left and he's afraid to go outside anymore....talks to himself constantly.....really sad.

Lolololol. Funniest post ive seen in a while :P

Deadlines are pretty killer arent they? I haven't had any big ones on our site, seeing as we dont have big name sponsors like intel and amd(and i doubt we ever would anyways :\). Most our of sponsors are pretty leisurely in how quickly we get the reviews up, they just like knowing when they do get put online.

but  at nates predicament. Poor guy :(
