So I had been wanting to buy the newest Symphony X CD (New as of early this year). I saw it at Borders, and it was $18. I don't like paying that for a CD, and couldn't find it anywhere else, so I waited. It never came down in price so I went to amazon, and found a seller that had the CD for $9.97 with about $3 shipping. I jumped at the chance, because thats not too bad for a CD. Two days after my amazon order I went back to the website to check on shipping info. It turns out that the guy doesn't ship the item until 6-22 days after your order. I was annoyed by this because I was excited to get the CD.

So, I am waiting on my CD, and I tell my friend at work that I got a great deal, but it was going to take forever to get to me. He then proceeds to tell me about deepdiscount.com. A website where you can get great CD and DVD deals, and they have free shipping on all of their items! I go to the website, and find the same CD, for the same price, but with free shipping. I kicked myself because I didn't shop around first, and decided to wait for shipping.

So, yesterday, 8 days after ordering my item, I received the CD. I open up the package, and the first thing I see is a logo for deepdiscount.com... DAMNIT!

So this guy on amazon is ordering CDs from deepdiscount.com with free shipping, and turning them around and selling them to amazon customers and making a profit on the shipping!

Don't know if you do Mp3s, amazon's stuff is all DRM free, good prices too

Well you could have been ripped off a lot worse, at least you now know where to look in the future.

I like to have hard copies of my music, and I don't have the download speeds for buying just MP3s.

I will definately not buy from amazon sellers that say it may take 3 weeks to ship an item. That just means they are getting it somewhere where I could shop myself.

Good advice, if i ever buy from an amazon seller i will bear this in mind.
